I must admit I always forget how good this show actually was when it was on tv. I was flipping through a few episodes today and let me tell you I forgot how great these old shows were. Back in the early 80's and 90's they made tv shows in which you got to see the characters grow up. Like Boy Meets World you get to see the progressive change of Corey, Topanga, Eric, and Shawn. Plus honestly and this may be pathetic and cheesy but who had a more touching relationship than Corey and Topanga? It is shows like this that they should make again. You get a group of casts and sign them long term if the show is a success and you have a hit and get to see them grow up kind of like what they did on Full House too. I definitely miss these type of shows.

I miss shows from back in those days too. It's not that I don't like the shows from back in those days but I do miss certain aspects of old shows that these new shoes don't seem to capture. I miss the old ABC, the channel that produced all these classics on TGIF like Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, and Balky and Larry. Shows from back in those days really was about entertainment not just about making money from viewers.
