One thing I'm sure of, we are constantly thrilling through time in our existence in this universe. Time is the only thing that constantly changing. But my question is, is it possible for us to travel time backwards or to the future? I knew that science doesn't have the right answer yet, but only "time" can tell. How about you, do you think it is possible?

Hi Fulltank,
Time travel of any kind will not be possible until we can find a way to travel at the speed of light or faster. If we could travel at the speed of light it would be possible to in effect freeze time but not travel in time.
As far travelling back in time we would only be able to travel back in time to the point that a time travel or a time machine was discovered or invented. So if say we discovered time travel in 2012 (lol) we would only be able to travel back to 2012 (lol) any point in time after that should be possible. Unless the world ends like say many have been raving about, like in that movie

well talking about traveling in a different time or going to the next dimension really sounds interesting to me, i have loved all the movies related to these two categories, well i am not much into science but i think it is not that easy to time travel, what zone said sounds convincing to me - traveling faster that light or hibernation to into future, oh yeah hibernation is a good option coz you will not be conscious enough to take the long journey but there must be a dedicated alert system to wake us up in times of emergency or when we have reached the destined time in the future otherwise it might be too long and we would be some place else, i like this movie 'aliens' where they show hibernation and time travel, not actually time travel but they were going somewhere far far away in space and so they were their bodies were put up for hibernation and they were literally sleeping for years!
.. i liked that principle, who knows it could be true, perhaps we could sleep and pass some time to get us to near future, well but certainly i have no clue as to how we could be able to back in time... all those things i would leave it to research fellows..hmmm...

I don't think that traveling back to 1989 from 2000 would work. I have experienced traveling by plane across different time zones. Therefore I left London at 12 noon and arrived in Los Angeles at 3 in the afternoon even though I had been flying for 12 hours. When I went around the world I crossed the international date line. I had to cross a date out of my diary. When I went to New Zealand I lost a day but I gained a day coming home again.

as einstien defined time as the forth dimenstion....an event is defined as the cordinate given by four dimentions..three of space and one time...
sure time frezess when we travel at the speed of light which mean that we can go into the future....for travelling backwards in time...the space has to be bended so as the both the past and present event occur at the same time...is another word we are shifting the location of the event in the time plane rather than changing the time itself and....such a place would be where density is infinity....
