Windows 7 is far more superior than windows vista. it runs very much faster since it needs only low hardware requirements. but win vista needs high hardware requirements for it to run thats the main reason for its failure, it runs slow on old pcs thus win 7 beats vista.............. happy mylotting!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't really used much of windows vista but I have used a friend's computer that had this OS and compared it to Windows 7. IMO, I think windows 7 is better since it's prettier (haha) and the fact that the simple things that they put in this OS makes your life easier. One thing that I love about Windows 7 is the fact that they have this search bar on the start menu that'll search everything on your computer with that file name and I think this way is faster than the normal search in Win XP/vista. Plus they say that Windows 7 is 20-30% faster than the other operating systems and I'm glad to say that my computer is very fast =].

I used WinVista and Win7 and I find that Win7 is more efficient .It is easier to install program in Win7.However,I am now using WinXP,because I am used to it and I think it is more stable and more efficient than the new OSs.

Microsoft gave off Windows 7 to make up for the loss of Windows Vista. I haven't used Windows Vista yet, but it seemed that it was going to step out of the history... but I also hold opinions for windows 7. let's see how it works.
