when did "Youtube" start and why they name it youtube?

youtube is such a very intereting site, everything you want to watch learn and know is in there, all the stuff that you want just by cliking it with your mouse instantly you can have it...very much handy now adays...but my question is why they name it youtube, it doenst fits at all, because what we know what's in "youtube" is all vedio...why it doesnt relate at all to dedion name..why "yotube"?

Well, YouTube started in 2005 I believe. It was started by several employees from the internet company PayPal. I guess it's called YouTube because it was intended to be of material created by whoever wanted to create videos to post content made by users. That's my guess.
