I have to write and I don't have any idea what my topic would be... Could you help me out?

I guess one way to answer your question would be to ask yourself who you want to write for. For instance, I have a niece who's just beginning to listen and understand stories. So, I wrote two stories just for her and illustrated them in a way that I knew she would appreciate, and included the vocabulary that she is familiar with. And yes, she loved them. So, maybe deciding who your reader is, will help you find the answer to your question.

Are you needing to write fiction or non-fiction? For me, it is a lot easier for me to write fiction than it is to write non-ficton. I don't like the research that is involved in writing non-fiction. As far as the kinds of fiction that I write when I feel the need to write, I typically go for either dramatic fiction or family based fiction because those are the two genres that I feel the most comfortable with. I am able to use a nice combination of my own experiences and my imagination to create decent pieces of writing.

Are you a writer? Have you published a book?

hi invisiblelady in our writing classes they always said write about something you know, for me I would write about the catastrophe that marred this past year for myson and I. For you it would be something different of course, maybe something about your family or your job, something you know intimately and would love to write about, something you like that you know really well.
