Good add-ons to your computer

I am now looking for gifts for my family members, and most of them use computers alot. I just wanted to ask what are some good add-ons to your computer for business and for recreation. Should i get a projector so they can put movies into their computers and then project them on their wall, or a new update?

An external harddrive would be good especiall if they have and older computer with limited harddrive space. It would also be good for back-up for a lot of their data and videos, etc. And it would be be portable, so it could be used to transfer large files to another computer.

Find out what software they use the most and get software suits. Printers, the all-in-one types are real popular as well. It cuts down on the guess work. Digital cameras or camcorders make good gifts as well. Also for children find some kid-friendly games to keep them busy. Also invest in portable memory or wireless routing. Find out what they already have, and take it from there.
