I also find late at night the best time to study. There are less distractions, for example, nothing on tv, friends gone to bed so noone to talk to on facebook and such. Well obviously not everyone has gone to bet so if i had no will power whatsoever it is still hard just to get my head down and get on :)

i think it depends alot on your study style. Every one has different ways in which they learnt and retain information best. i do best if i do a little every day. but my real power time is early morning and late night.cover a sectionand review early morning, one of the things with studing is to find a way to rainforce the learning so you dont forget it after 5 mnutes. i hate getting up on the weekends to go study, but i found that when my head is the clearest.and i retain the information the best.

Hi vim! For me, the best to study is at DAWN. It will easily sink in my mind. Everybody is still sleeping and you just had your rest and your mind is very fresh in processing some information. Especially if the type of test is objective and you need to memorize all those definitions, I suggest you do it at dawn. :)

Hi Vimalpatel, For me the best time to study is early morning--around 4am. A time so peaceful and you were able to have a good rest. So it will be easier for you to absorb what you are going to reach and study or even memorize. This worked for me when i was in college. i never forced myself to study in the evening and extend late night reading. It just stressed me out and i am not understanding what i am reading so try it. Have an early sleep, relax and wake up early for your review!

For me it's arond 6 am. My brain literally absorbs new information in the morning. I find this rather strange, since I usually get about 5 hours of sleep or less.

I can only study when my mom is asleep. She requires a lot of attention because she is disabled, so I can't study when she is awake.
