We all click away to glory sitting in front of our PC but have you given a thought as to how it really works. We all know the acronym WYSIWYG but how to ensure that we should see what we want to see? Can you throw some light?

During my school days I hated computers, because I was a biology student. I dont like the guys going to computer lab and doing programming. I had even made fun they are working with plastic boxes. You know what? Now am a software engineer, looking at this plastic box for my living!

Yes, once upon a time I knew absolutely nothing about pcs and I would always have to call some tech guy to sort out my problems. However, I took a course in computer maintenance and installation two years ago and this is the best decision I ever made I think. I know my pc inside and out now and I tend to do everything myself when it comes to resolving problems. I guess there's a great sense of achievement to be had when you start doing things yourself. In relation to the WYSIWHG idea this is great. I guess the computer only understands the following language and that is 0s and 1s! The letter A for example, when we press it on the keyboard it has it's own individual code of zeros and ones! The proper name for this code is the ASCII code. Every letter has it's only ASCII code. Computers are really smart when you come to think of it! Andrew

Hello All. I guess I do know PC's I have built a few in my day. I know that if you keep your PC cleaned out of all those things that get downloaded from the internet then it will keep running pretty good. Do you clean your PC when you use it? I clean up the trash in my PC at least every other day. When your PC starts to run slowly then it is time to clean out the files. When on the internet files get downloaded and you have to keep things like that cleaned out. Have a great day!
