banks right now are unpredictable. they are good now the next day they declared bankrupt. it seems unsafe to invest in banks right now. cooperative on the other hand seemingly promising. aside from you'll have a dividend or return of investment, there are other benefits like: mortuary benefit, hospital benefit income and loan if in case you urgently need cash. cooperative also like bank have savings deposit, time deposit and share capital. i prefer to invest in cooperative. if you have money which would you prefer to invest banks or cooperative?

Hi alexsabelle, Yes its better to invest our money in cooperative banks as they have, RD, Maturity benefits, hospital benefit and loans when we required urgently. More over our money will be safe. We dont know when this MNc banks declares to be in bank corrupt. Have a great day

It depends. If I'm going to deposit a huge amount of money then I prefer to deposit it in a bank. But I will be very careful in choosing the bank. I'll choose the bank with great reputation, good interest rate, great customer service, and is giving away good freebies. Banks are giving their depositors insurance for their money. If the maximum insurance is 500k then I won't deposit an amount bigger than that. shadow41

you are correct, safe guarding our hard earned money is very important. by choosing the right banks where stability and security is of utmost importance. however, i would also like to consider cooperative, since they also offer loans at a lesser percentage compared to the banks if ever emergency cash is needed. take care shadow41..
