Do you still use your friendster account?

hi becdmd^^;; i also have a friendster account and like you it was my first social site. i couldn't remember exactly when i joined because i was really not that active though i like posting pictures there too. i just use friendster to view other people i know profile and view some of their pictures, see if they have gotten married or not, etc. this year, i finally posted something, a few, on my facebook and added friends but same as friendster, am not that interested. i come here on mylot more often than these two sites except if i receive a notification from them.

sometimes, if iam missing my friendster, i login again in friendster even most of my friend in friendster never come to in friendster. it`s so empty when we are in friendster.

Yes. Until now I'm using my account there because there are some features in that site that I like and like you, its my first account as old as my yahoo account. Its memorable for me and its my way of communicating with others who has doesn't have account in other sites. I have a lot of photos, friends, comments, and messages there so I'm still using it. Also its because some of my friends are using it too. My efforts in making that account would be useless if I'm going to ignore it or delete it. I have spent a lot of time there so I'll just check it if I want to.

I only check my friendster account if there's a message. I am not that active in it now compared to facebook. I am thinking of deleting my pictures in soon time too but it seems that I can't find time for it yet. Sooner I'll have the account deleted too.

Before, I'm so active on that social networking site but now, I'm getting bored with it. I think, Facebook is surpassing what friendster have reached before. That's what I thought.

I haven't checked my Friendster in a while, too. I find it boring as compared to Facebook, Multiply, and Mylot. I'm planning to delete it soon.

Hello Becca, yes I am still using my friendster account up to now. I've got a lot of good and close friends there. I do like to check what my friends are up to now by just looking up their profile. Actually, friendster is my first social networking site that I have joined during my college days. At first, I was naive about the concept of it, but slowly I started to understand how exciting and enjoyable connecting with your relatives and friends online around the world. I don't have any blogs but I do like to visit and read other peoples blogs. Right now, there are a lot of well-known social networking sites out there which are more exciting and fun to visit. I have deleted my friendster account for personal reasons, however by the looks of it, a lot of people has been hooked on facebook rather than friendster owing to its popular games/applications that has gained mass following such as the farmville

friendster? ? What's that lol who uses that anymore . I have not used that in a long time . wow I can't believe it's still working or to up and running . But I guess people use it good for them . I'll stick to my other ones .

hello there! i do have a friendster account as well and i use that to connect with my friends from highschool & college...but, i seldom logged in there now... i just go there sometimes to check on some updates or sometimes to use one of the application that i have there which is free texting! haha and another reason why i am no longer active on friendster is because me & all of my friends & classmates are already on facebook! have a good day!

Yes, Im still using my friendster account I have more friends in friendster than in my facebook. Im still using both friendster and facebook. But I visited more in facebook because it is very accessible site.

hi there! I still have friendster because most of my high school friends are there. I still have lots of photos in that account and the messages/comments I received from my friends are really memorable. I have mine since 2001 or 2002, not really sure. I still like it though, I am not very active in that site as I used to, but still...it's nice to have it. Happy Lotting!

Hi. We have the same experience. I created my account in 2004 or 2005. Starting this year, I only visit the account once or twice a month. I also think that it's becoming obsolete. My account is starting to become stagnant. I have not made any changes for the past several months.

now i dont active in friendster because there is a hot and sizzling facebook now,because facebook is an entertaining and enjoying social networking site,there so many that you can do in facebook than friendster.that's why so many people love the facebook now than to friendster.

Well at first I was really hesitant to make an account with Friendster. My friend just forced me to have one. My reasons for not wanting it is because I find that site not user friendly unlike with Facebook where I was one of the early members, I find fb more accessible and easy-to-use than the other. That's why I kinda thought that there will come a time that people will switch to other social networks which is more appealing than the previous ones. These are all like cellphones. They come and they go. Lol.

Hi, Becdmd! I have a Friendster account, which I created about three years ago, if I am not mistaken. I did post a few photos and was active for a few months, but not anymore. I still receive the updates in my email, but I never logged into my account for many months now. I think I even have forgotten my password!! The last time I logged in, I saw there were so many spam messages in my comment box, but I just ignored it. I am not sure either if I should cancel my account. I never thought about it, though.

YES I do.. even if I had a lot of friends now in mylot and facebook... I still want to retain my friendster and keep in touch with my friends in friendster.
