Making some extra money for Christmas

November 28, 2009 11:38am CST
Christmas is almost here, and many of us will have been doing what we can to get a little extra money to spend. I've been reviewing music on slicethepie, and I've sold a few things on Ebay as well. What sort of thing have you been doing to earn extra money? Have you been successful?

I have been cleaning computers on the side. Both pysically and on the operating system. Depending on what is wrong with the computer "usually trojans and spyware from surfing the internet". I can have the computer clean and running as close to when it first got turned on in about 3-5 hours. I usually charge around $75-125 depending on what all I have to do and if I have the physically clean it also. So you are looking at around $25 an hour. Most people will pay this without even thinking about it, as I am way cheaper then sending it into a computer store which would charge around $250-325 for the same thing. The thing that is even better is when I get 2-3 computer that I am working on at the same time. This is because after I am finally able to get into the computer "most of the computer that I work on are that badly infected" and start running the cleaning programs it is on auto pilot and it runs for an hour or so. This means that I can have a few computer being lceaned at the same time. Which means that I am really making around $75 an hour when I am working on 3 computers at the same time. So on a day that I clean 3 computers I can make up to $375 depending on how bad the computers are. Not to bad for a days worth of work :) Bryan P.S. I also have a program that runs on my computers that pays me to run. I have been paid via PayPal from the company numerous times. If you or anyone reading this is interested in this just send me a friend invite and I will send you the link.
