Do you find it hard asking for the payment of the money being borrowed from you?

In life, its very common that a friend will ask some financial assistance to other friends. In some, they will try to buy a things, then they will ask a friend to pay it for them for a while. These circumstances is sometimes hard to avoid especially if that favor was asked by your friend.
The question is, do you find hard to ask back the payment of the money being borrowed from you? How do you ask for the reimbursement of the money that you have pay for a while?

I have let people borrow money off me in the past, but i have got to the stage now where i am not going to lend anymore money out as i have to wait alot longer then when they say.I also found that even when i have let them borrow money they always blow it as well as find more money to blow.I learnt to ask for the money people had borrowed off me.
