Hey :) im new to myLot and so i don't really understand how the whole earnings bit works. Correct me if i'm wrong but this is what i think i know so far: Users get paid for being active minimum payment to paypal is $10 you can only withdraw every month If you don't withdraw one month, your earnings remain the same and you can withdraw it the month after Like i said, i "think" thats right. If i'm wrong please let me know :) any other things i should know? much appreciated, thankyou :D

Slight correction: 1) You are paid for your participation (i.e. what YOU type rather than what anyone else types). There is no set amount 'per post'. Anyone who tells you that it 'averages' $0.01 (or whatever) is only giving you (at the best) their own experience ... if they don't make quality posts, then that may be why they only average that! 2) You are paid according to the QUALITY of your participation. Don't ask how 'quality' is defined ... that would be trying to assess how MyLot's proprietary algorithm works and that is against the rules (see the Guidelines). If you respond to discussions to the best of your ability and as descriptively as possible (that is, NOT with one word or one line answers but a paragraph or two) ... and also if your answers are rated well by other people, then you can be fairly confident that you are posting 'quality' responses and discussions. 3) You understand and abide by the Guidelines. If you don't (or try to get around them, thinking they are 'rules'), then you are wasting your time and you will lose money and credibility when discusions are deleted. 4) Payment is automatic. You don't request payment. If, by the end of any month, you have made more than $10 (or whatever minimum you have selected), your PayPal account will be credited with that amount on or about the 15th of the month following (often sooner).

Read the Guidelines and the FAQs and you should not need to make false assumptions or to ask any further questions.

Yeah, you got it right. Don't forget that you will earn for participation (discussion, posting photos, blog entries, etc) and for completing tasks. The participation earning are not proportional to the quantity of discussions you create but rather to the value your discussion add to the community.
