I have this Insomnia, I don't know what to do...

I've had this insomnia since I was in college. I just want to be over it. Makes me tired, and restless, and I can't think straight. Any remedies that works? I am so desperate... Please help.

I am going through this at the moment, do you drink caffiene if so then dont drink any around 1 hour before going to bed. Not saying your dirty but make sure you clean your sheets once a week. Dont get out of bed once you are in it, try not to watch TV in bed. I have heard all this from my doctor, hasnt worked yet for me but maybe it will for you? Good luck let me know how it goes

Hey Angel. I change my sheets every week because I have so many allergies. I wash up every night, I even take a bath at least twice a day. I do't drink coffee. I don't have TV in my room. I just don't know what will possibly work. Well, you'd find your own "sleeping pill recipe" really soon. :). To a deep, peaceful slumber! *toast*

I'd tell you to eat turkey and drink warm milk before bed, but from the sounds of it, you've probably tried all that kind of stuff. Have you talked to your doctor? When I was pregnant I had a really hard time sleeping and the doctor gave me some Ambien just so I could get enough rest to be healthy. I didn't get addicted and I stopped as soon as my son was born. Maybe something like this can get your body to re-program itself.

avoid afternoon naps, drink milk before going to bed, had a warm bath before bed time, put some aroma essence at your room - lavender scent will do... don't think of a lot of things... free your mind from anything.
