I've heard this before and it is a positive saying and I really like it. I think that it's true that readers can potentially become leaders but there are no guarantees as with anything. I think that someone has to want to become a leader and show a real interest. When you read a lot though your language, speaking and communication skills become that much more powerful. I love to read a lot so I would hope that I could possibly become a leader of some sort although I'm not exactly putting myself out there in hopes of becoming a leader! Andrew

Does knowledge always translate to success? Does talent always translate to success? The answer is no. So does readers make great leaders, the answer is no. But reading gives you more chance of success than others who do not read. But after that it is an individuals usage of what he/she has read which will determine whether they go on to become a good leader!! Cheers! Ram
