How many of you have worked with any NGO? What was it all about? Did you work as volunteers or were you a paid staff? what are the objectives of that NGO and how do they promote them?
I worked for an NGO called YUWA- Youth United for Worldwide Action. It aims to help handicapped and other vulnerable sections of society. It was initially started as a mere community on a social network called orkut, but gradually developed in a more than 150 members' group, who are enthusiastic to take any action to help vulnerable people.

That's excellent. That's wonderful. I have not worked for any NGOs so far. But, I am always very interested in the works of NGOs working around the world. I make donations once in a while to NGOs and Charity Organizations which are helping needy people in places around the world. Again, it is indeed excellent work you are doing !

you are right sir, working for an NGO without pay is good. Because you want to do something from your side for the sake of other people and charity work gives lot of pleasure to mind.
