Hi umer! There is no doubt that adding vegetables to our diet, in any stage of life can improve our health. I agree with other responders. Green and leafy vegetable are the ones that are healthiest. Broccoli protects the body from the ravishes of cancer. Spinach protects us from a number of illnesses such as arthritis, osteoporosis and heart disease. There are also other vegetable that do not come in green but still considered to be healthiest. Eggplants for example. This vegetable has high levels of copper, potassium and fiber. Carrots has pro-Vitamins A carotene. Carrots are used to regulate blood sugar level and are good for the health of the colon.

Hello umer5222 this is checkmail and think that nearly every vegetable is the healthiest vegetable for us.It depends upon our health requirements, to which vegetable it good for us.For instance Broccoli is good as an protein suppliment, Spinach is an good suppliment for anti-oxidants, Tomato is an good for blood purification, etc stuffs and more of it.So over all can say that both the health requirement and the vegetables must be avail to each other to be healthy in our life. Here too we have to maintain an balance between its intake or there are some side effects, not much harmful, but still a little effect over our health.Enjoy eating vegetables everyday.

Each and every different vegetables have their own importance and our body needs each one and every nutrition.Different vegetables are healthiest for our body its not like one.Yes green leafy vegetables are very healthiest but as it has get advantage and also it has got disadvantage.....So we should eat vegetables which our body requires and if some things is harmful for us should be avoided...Take care

Hi. In school, we were told that green leafy vegetables are the healthiest. They always say that these are low in fat and calories and high dietary fiber and protein.

I believed that Tomatoes is one of the healthiest vegetables. Tomatoes are full of lycopene and well known for its cancer-fighting capabilities. It is also a good source of vitamin A to K. What I like about tomatoes is that it neutralized free radicals that can damage cells in the body. According to some, tomatoes gives you a youthful glowing skin.

Hi, umer5222. I have heard that the healthiest vegetables are the ones that are deep yellow and dark leafy green vegetables. All veggies are good for us. But these kinds have more nutrients and has a high capacity of Vitamin A. Plus Iron, which is great for our blood.
