Are there any Triond writers here? What do you think of this site?

I have to admit that I LOVE this site! I joined two weeks ago, submitted about seven articles there and I am eligible for payout! I know the minimum payout is low, but I think it's realistic, because with that, I think it is possible to be paid every month. Plus I'm a beginner, my English isn't that good, so high minimum payout scares me! Lol. It's actually pretty easy to earn there, I suppose. What's your experience with Triond? Oh, tell me your pen name so I can take a look at your work and add you as a friend! Mine is Citra Florenca. Any story is appreciated!

Hi Citra! I don't have any idea what is the site you are talking about Hmmm, quite interesting though. How much is the payout? And how are paid? How many words do you need in an article? Maybe I can sign up if they are good I write for freelance but I'm not loving it. So I am sticking with Microworkers. They can pay me $1-$`.50 per article. It ranges from 200-400 words.

Yes, it's a freelance writing site. You get paid based on page views you get, so there's no exact amount on how much per article you will earn. As long as being viewed, you'd earn. The minimum payout is only $0.50 by paypal or $50 by western union/check. As far as I know, there is no minimum words per article. You can even submit poems!

The freelance I am referring above is freelancer site. Who can view your article? It needs to be original right? Did you receive payout already? Does it take time for you to reach the minimum? Sorry for those questions. Just want to know more info about it.

Who can view your articles? Well, Triond post your articles to difference sites, according to your articles theme, so the chance of getting views is pretty good, I suppose. There is also a "share" button where you can promote your work to social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit etc. Yes, it has to be original, but it's not that hard. Being original means it hasn't been published anywhere else, like you can't copy other's work and claim it is yours. I have reach minimum payout the at the first week there, but I will be paid next month. I've been there for almost 3 weeks.

It is really a great site for beginners but as you become more knowledgable in things like SEO(search engine optimization which basically means the more you know the better you'll be at learning how to get search engines to actually find and crawl your site in good keywords.) I would slowly steer myself away from there because soon you'll realize by running your own site as an "SEO-friendly" site you can make a lot more, a lot quicker. If there is a referral program on Triond which I forgot if there is or not you can share your payment proof on my website to help build up your referrals and show others that the site does actually pay at, www.onlinepaymentproofs.com You can post any other payment proofs you might have to build up referrals as well. :)

SEO isn't too hard to learn, but it does take time. Yeah, and i'm a pretty good SEO-user on my opinion. I was going to write some SEO-friendly articles for Triond at some point, just to rake up some residual from them at least. Residual is allwayy sso fun. It's nice to wake up one day and see money in your account from something you did a few months back!

I checked your website, it's really cool! You are right, in fact it's the residual income that attracts me lol

SEO sounds good for advanced internet user. I am a beginner, maybe I'll stick with it. I write only for fun, anyway, just like here in mylot :p nope, there's no referral system there in Triond. Looks like they are planning it, because it's still beta. So, are you a SEO user?

I've been on Triond for about two years, and get a steady but small income from it. Unless you happen to hit on an article that appeals to a very large number of people, you're never going to make much money from this site. The good thing about it, however, is that the articles stay current indefinitely, and the ones that have appeal keep earning money. I think the biggest amount for a month that I've ever earned came just a couple of months ago when I wrote a piece on grandparents. It took off for the first month. In spite of that, my earnings were still just over $2.00 altogether. It's not a place to make a living from - in fact it's very hard to make real money on the Net. Even those people who claim to know all about SEOs are usually only making money because they're writing about it! http://gomestic.com/family/grandparents-rules/ My username is mcrowl, by the way.

You are right. The earning is very small. I write only for fun, anyway so it's not a problem to me. I just love people reading what I wrote. Well, I am aware that I won't be rich for that lol. I'll definitely take a look at your article!

I have published three articles on Triond but to tell you the truth it's very difficult to make payment. I suppose I should be writing a lot more for them, I guess the more articles you have on Triond the more chance you have of getting paid. Your English seems pretty good. I guess the more you write the better you become. My pen name on Triond is AndrewFreyne. You are welcome to read what I have written. On Triond I have mainly concentrated on writing fiction and short stories. I like the idea of writing fiction as I can escape into another world this way, there's nothing wrong with escaping reality for a little while!. Anyway, good luck with your own writings and I hope that you make the next payment on Triond. Andrew

Yes, they do pay. The site has been running for years and many of the members have been paid. Have you reach the minimum payout? Also make sure that your paypal information is correct in order to receive the payment.

I am a proud triond writer and I have only 15 articles on the site and have $1.50 in earnings. I joined the site less than a month ago though I would like to earn around $200 a month if possible and then work my way higher. You can also find me on triond with the pen name TierrasMommy so be sure to add me.

Hello Tierrasmommy! Wow, I am glad you are so optimistic. I should be like you too! We have one thing in common, I joined there less than a month ago too. Roughly three weeks ago. I have only 7 or 8 articles there and my last earning is $1.13. I should be more active like you! I'd definitely add you as a friend!

I have joined the site way back then but have submitted only a few articles. I do agree that it is a legitimate site. I did have some earnings but I have not reach payout yet. I am quite busy with other things so I was not able to make or write new articles.
• Indonesia

Well, yes being busy sometimes distracts us. I am very busy myself. I have a full time job and do not have enough time to be online for too long. I also have to be with my family and do some hobbies. So I am online only when I have spare time

I am a triond member. I have not written anything for the site in about 2 years though! I occasionally still get 50 cents here and there from the views on my articles though. I think it's a really cool site though, and I want to start writing for it again sometime in the near future.

It seems like the articles there are earning forever lol. 50 cents/month without doing anything sounds great hehe. Good luck on your plan of writing!

I've been a member for quite awhile now. They pay you on the 10th of every month as long as your balance is over 50 cents I believe. The thing that bothers me about it is you don't make much. You have to write at least 1 to 2 articles a day (decent ones) to make a decent amount of money. I usually get paid around $2 a month and I stopped writing articles for about a month now! lol

Lol, yes you are right! The more articles you submit, the more you earn. The funny thing is, it's that LOW minimum payout that attracts me :p I don't write everyday, though, just once in a while in my spare time. I love how I just have to write then watch my earning grows everyday. Eventhough it's not much, just like you said hehe
