My daughter is only 7 months but she already has 7 teeth. Is it ok. Someone told me my daughter is lack of calcium while someone told me that's ok. I always feed her bone soup ans fish soup. Do you have some tips?

All children get their baby teeth at a different rate so don't worry yourself unnecessarily about it. I have a granddaughter who is almost 2, who has quite a lot of teeth while my best friend's niece's daughter who is almost the same age just got her first tooth. This also happened when my oldest daughter was a baby and I had a close friend with a daughter who was a month older than her. My daughter had teeth months before this baby did. As long as you're feeding you daughter a healthy diet, she will develop normally.

hi anniege , you can better go and consult a paediatrician. i donn think this is a problem as far as the baby is active enough. but if you get the opinion of the paediatrician then you can still get convinced. Don't worry you keep continue to give good foods to your baby.

I think the growth of teeth in children is genetic. i know of many kids who eat calcium rich foods and drink calcium rich milk and they only have 1 tooth when they are after one year! so my conclusion is that the rate of teething is genetic. my 1 year old has 8 teeth and i recently felt one more tooth edge cutting through. :)

hi anniege your daughter sounds fine to me, and my son when he was about the same age had 6 teeth and the pediatrician said that was fine, babies all teeth at different times. I would go with your own gut instinct and whatever your baby doctor tells you. sounds like you feed her very well to me.Be sure she gets enough milk each day but that is all I can think of as I am an elderly woman who is just looking back years on my own sons babyhood. he he.

Thank you Hatley. I nurse my baby by myself when i am at home and my mother in-law will feed her formular when i am not at home. And she is really a active baby.

That is perfectly ok! My eldest was only a tiny 8 weeks when she cut her first tooth every child is different my youngest was still only 16 weeks when she cut her first tooth both had all their teeth by a year old, yet many children dont get a first tooth until they are over a year. My eldest is almost 6 now and has infact lost two baby teeth and grown two adult ones and has two more wobbly ones :)
