Is there pure friendship between male and female?

Whether boys and girls can be a very good friend only because one likes the other one? Does boys and girls can enjoy a pure friendship? If you have a different gender good friend, does your bf/gf mind it?

My bestfriend in high school was a guy, well until now we are bestfriends but we live in different cities now. I think it is really possible between a male and female having a pure friendship. I think the secret to keep this friendship is just to never fall to each other because that could ruin the friendship.

Yeah...I think u r a lucky girl~ I hav some good male friends, but not my best friends..and i saw many friendship between male and female are stopped coz one fall in lov to the other..it is a kind of pity...well, some relationship also begin from a friendship.. So i think it is hard to balance~~o(n_n)o...

That is impossible to be best friend. But it is normal to be usual friend.
If one of them has a bf or gf. U must consider what is the meaning the word "Jealous". And consider what would people think for their activity. Boy and girl shouldn't be too close each other unless they are lovers.

Sometimes there can be. Lots of males and females are "just" friends. Some turn those into relationships, others don't. Pure and simple. It's up to the indivual to determine how things end up panning out.

yes i think so. Although, they say the best relationships form from friendships (or something like that) :P
Surely all relationships should form from friendships, seems stupid any other way.
How can someone have a bf/gf that isn't their friend? how crap would that be? :)
