When you fall down in front of many people, they laugh, what would you do?

Every time somebody falls down after stumbling on a stone or something, the people around them laugh at first. Then only they try to lift them and make them stand. So the first thought is to laugh and not pity or help. Have you ever thought about this? Have you ever been in this kind of situation? What did you do?

I have a sad experience about helping a person. It is an morning, i am riding an ordinary bus going to our office. As I can still remember, I am wearning a formal attire that time. When i am already near to the bus stop. i stand up, then there is this one guy who fall down, I think he has an epileptic because his both eyes are turning into white. So what i did is I helped him stand. And ask him , if he's okay.He answered back "I'm okay."After that, i go down to the bus, then I checked on my pocket and i found out that my cellphone is gone. So i went back, i came to realized that there are two guys at the back of me while helping the guy.I found out that they are just one team in attacking a person. Nothing happened, i went down to the bus and I was really numb.I don't know what is totally happening to my surrounding. This has brought a big lesson to me. So every time i saw people suffering from this, i would just look at him /her, and let someone help her/him.

I try to laugh, but it does not come. It looks more funny and i try to behave smart. Others understands that i am trying to behave smart. In total, it makes me funny.

I never laugh, when some body falls down in front of many people. I always try to help them, back to their feet. We have a saying in Tamil, which translated means that even elephants slip. I have been in this kind of situation, where I have also slipped and fallen, and people have helped me, as well as I have helped a lot of people who had fallen down. Usually I am the first man to reach the fallen man/woman.

When I fall in front of many people, I just laugh at myself and give a smile to the spectators to ease the situation. This makes me more comfortable and helps forget the incident easily! I think everybody should try this.

Nice ploy. I really like your attitude in dealing with things. And the idea of laughing before somebody does also shows your nature of never-quitting. Sure will try this next time.

I do agree with you, I just laugh at myself. It happened many times during my college days.

b4bLaji hi Yes only nobody was laughing as I could not get up, I was in such pain, I had broken my left shoulder and my left arm would not work. usually if you fall you can use both hands to get yourself back up but my left hand was useless. so it was paramedics er and hospital and a month in rehab and an artificial shoulder joint. none of which was funny at all. the bill was not funny either.thank God the insurance paid was $86 thousand dollars, good thing I was sitting down when I saw my insurance had covered it all.thats one huge medical bill for a fall. wow.

Not everyone laughs when a person falls down. Besides you would have to fall in a funny way in order to make people laugh. If people see blood come out after your fall or if they realise that you might have hurt yourself badly, then the people are unlikely to laugh.
