My work is far from my home so I need to wake up as early as I can. Plus I need to wait for the bus to my station for at least fifteen minutes. If I miss the first one, I need to wait for another fifteen minutes for the next bus to come. i have been doing that for five years now and I wish I can transfer to another work station where I will be near to my home.

i wish there are taxis available here downtown. the taxis are only in our airport and they seem to have the most expensive fare ever.some drivers are also abusing especially when they know that some don't really come from our place. i have a one hour drive from home to work.

it's a type of vehicle that is only in the Philippines. Jeepneys are the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have also become a symbol of Philippine culture.attached here is a pic of a jeepney.

hi flagella,
Oh yes I am a daily commuter and I am so tired of commuting! hahaha! joke!
Honestly, it has been two years that I am praying for a car, be it a second hand or whatever, I need one. I was about to buy it when emergency happened here at home so I need to spend it on more important matter. I always take a cab in going to my work, and in going home I take two jeepney ride and a tricycle.

yes it's always nice to have own car. If you want to save money on gas, insurance and parking ticket, I would recommend taking public transit to get around. However, if you live in the city and commuter to the suburb, and a car is diffently needed, then keep it.

I commute to work each day as well. I drive about 14 miles one-way to work. My drive to work is actually not that bad. Most of the roads I travel are good roads, and I really don’t have to go into the heart of the city to get to work. I can usually make the drive in about 20-25 minutes. I would really like to have a job working from home so that I would not have to make the trip to work every day, but the commute that I have is not bad most of the time.

Yes. Ever since I started college, I always commute. In high school, I rode on a carpool. Commuting is very tiresome and hassle. But I don't have any choice because I don't own a private car to take me to school everyday. And the gasoline expense is really expensive nowadays.

When I was in highschool and in college, I used to commute. I often ride a taxi, usually when it rains only or if I'm in a hurry. But things changed when I started to work in my previous job. I was assigned in a graveyard shift, usually starts at 10 pm. So I really need to ride a taxi by then.
