Hi Jas2999, As christians we can't force them to accept our faith what we can only do is share our faith on how Jesus save us and PRAY. We must show them through our actions, the way we speak and the way we think how Jesus has changed us and try make a difference and PRAY, PRAY and PRAY. Also there is no formula or secret prayer so that others may received Christ. Just ask God sincerely that He touch and soften your father's heart and that God work in his life. I'll be praying for you also, God Bless!

Lift them up to the Lord in your prayers. Ask the Lord to touch their hearts according to His Will for them. Our own family is oftentimes the most difficult to convert. Merely talking about our faith is far from enough. Our actions of love, compassion, understanding and the many other virtues of our Lord Jesus Christ are much stronger means of evangelizing than preaching. Try to live the faith. Show your love for them as Jesus loved - selfless and unconditonal. This is difficult to do on our own but by the grace of the Holy Spirit, they can see Jesus in you. It takes patience and perseverance. Meditate on God's Word and live it as much as you can. And as the Lord has said, pray unceasingly. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." (Galatians 5:22-23). Do your best to manifest the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life and your family can see the goodness of the Christian faith.

Praying for your family is a wonderful thing for all of us to do; but besides that, you need to live your life in such a way that they will see something special in you that they'll want.
