Should I put my son in an International School?

My son is four years old. He goes to an international school. In our days there were no international schools. I went to a regular school. We learnt to write our 'ABC' right since the junior kg (kindergarten). In my son's school they are still playing and drawing. I am worried; will my son be left behind academically if he continues to go to an international school. Please advise!

I went to a public school and we didnt start any learning beside for "sitting still on the chair" before 1st grade, so that translates into 5-6years of age. This was in Denmark and i is aproximately 18-19years ago now. And i have just acchieved my AP degree, so i dont believe your son wil fall beheind allready at 4. But also it is different from school to school how they do it. In Denmark they have started teaching the ABC in 0. grade (last year of kindergarten). When they are at the age of 4, they should still be playing, it seems in our society we are to focused on growing up so fast and get an education. We make the kids adult before they are ready.

international school offers high quality of education that is broadly enough for the students to get into a good Accent in English and technically strong position in all manners of Science.. But the fact is they start the education a little bit late, they don't want the children to start the education soon, they want the kids to enjoy their life and get into studies at the age of 5... but in our country it is a thing that LKG in the age of 3..It is common now that Pre KG in the age of 2... What happened to motherhood, why engaging your child in school so early? i tell that ur kid should study in the International School...Don't often look for academic results, see ur child will gain all physical fitness along with technical strength if he is continuing in the International Scholl rather joining in any of our Central Board School ..

Hi friend, I want to remind you twenty years back, we can't find any international schools. But may of them are studied and survived in their life. My suggestion is, you doesn't worry about the school is international or local school. Enquiry your friends and relatives about the school which producing 100% result for every year. It will help for your son's future and he can gather new things. keep mylotting. Have a nice day.
