Do you take your rings off when you do the house work?

I don't have a ring now. What do you mean, is the wedding ring. I don't have that. But when i have a ring, i take it off. I do not wear a ring inside at home. All I can wear is clothes. I am still uncomfortable cleaning the house with a ring, it will slip out when my hands are wet and soapy.

I only wore one ring. Interestingly enough it came in an envelope in the mail. The only finger it would fit was my pinkie finger. Well, I don't do housework. I have a housekeeper who comes three times a week. Somehow, though, just through daily activity I lost the ring and can't find it. It very well maybe inside the cushions of my couch. I don't take them off, instead I put on rubber gloves. I have big re-useable ones that I use in the kitchen for dishes and things like that, and I have the smaller disposable latex ones to use when cleaning the bathroom, or the cat litter and stuff like that. I also used those disposable ones in ceramics class, so I would not have to take my rings off in there either.

I do sometimes. I wish I could remember to do it. I have lost stones out of my rings,I think just because they got wet.

I never do...the last time i took rings off, I was pregnant & had "fat" fingers but my wedding & engagement rings stayed on & they're still there - even when we go to the beach which is every day.

NOT ANYMORE!!!! Seriously, in the past there were times that I would take my rings off so that I could do the dishes or when I was baking, but that time is in the past. The last time that I ever took my rings off was last Christmas when I was making a candy that involved rolling balls and when I got done I forgot to immediately put my rings back on. My wedding band was missing for three months and we finally found it inside of my 2-year-old nieces play purse. I was on verge of asking for a replacement ring.

When I'm home I don't usually have my rings or earring on. So I don't do housework with my rings on. When I come home I take off the earrings and rings and put them back in my jewelry box.

I only have a promise ring and I usually take it off when I'm washing the dishes or something. The other one has fallen once and it just went down the sink. The bf wasn't too happy about it but he bought me another one anyway. So now I'm extra careful with it.

the only time i took my ring off was when i went to bed,coz my fingers used to swell during the night,,but now the same as the necklace,i don't wear one coz it's easier

The only ring I wear is my wedding band and I do not take it off to do my house work. The only time I take it off is if I have a cut by my ring then I will clean the cut and then put the ring back on. I do not like to wear rings except for my wedding band.

The only ring I keep on now is my wedding band. My hubby has given me a couple rings in the past (when we weren't married) and the stones on them flew off somewhere. It's not that they were gigantic, expensive stones, but just the fact that it was special made me cringe that I had lost them. And of course lost stones are rarely ever found. So now I just limit my finger jewelry to that one wedding band.

Sometimes YES.Otherwise i forget to remove them while working.

hi jugsjugs, regularly i will wear 3 rings on my finger, when i going to do some work i will take off the rings. i am not confertable to keep the rings, when i am going to work, when ever i go for toilet also, i remove the rings.. because, those rings are my birth stones, so, i keep a side, thankyou, have a nice day.

I feel uncomfortable if I wear ring while working at home. It strikes my mind till I remove the ring. Hence I always remove the ring while doing house work. The moment work is done, I will wear it again. My people call me Karna, which is a character in Mahabharatha, who is born with jewels.

Well I really dont have any rings as no one has proposed to me yet but if I had rings I would take them off especially if its of a sentimental value and I dont want anything to happen to them,although something could happen to them when you take them off.I guess you just have to be as careful as you can be

I keep my on unless I am washing dishes because I am afraid they might fall off and go down the drain. I also take them off when I shower or bathe for the same reason. If I am dusting or vaccuuming then I keep them on. I also keep them on when I am cooking.

I try not to take out my rings during work as I am afraid that i may lose them as i am careless sometimes or just forget in the busy routine so i dare not take this chance. Once i have forgotten my bangles in the parlor and it remind me to be careful in the future. but I wash my rings if i feel they have gone dirty.

my mother didnt, so one day when she was cleaning the garden she lost one ring that my father gave her years ago, she was so sad that know she never wearing rings when she is doing the housework. I don't have rings, so when she asks me to do something i don't have those kind of problems.
