So, how would define refurbished products? Something already used before, or broken and then repaired by the seller, then he/she resell it again? Or something is already open - box and re - sealed for re - sell? It seems there are more than one simple definition for it. Can someone use the professional term to explain it clearly?

This is what I think it means to me.
They take the product which is a electronic and repair the none working items or replace a broken component back to working conditions. The companies then call it a refurbished product. They usually give it a warranty but not as long as a new warranty. I have purchased items that are are refurbished. I haven't had any problems with them at all.
Have a good day and keep smiling.

I had my desktop bought as a refurbished condition, and I used it for almost 6 years without any problem. Only some minor problems I could fix them. As long as I am concern, it is ok, and I had no complaint about it.

I have purchased a cell phone in the past and it still works too. I think that they are okay and work fine.
