How to get rid of black and thick skin from a former infection?

What is this thick skin. What former infection you have before? Can you just use some kind of soap every time you go to bath?

This depends on how where the scar is. If it is possible and if your skin can handle it you could try exfoliating, then using a lotion to keep the skin soft and supple thus prevent it drying causing the skin to thicken.
