My family went there last Saturday, but unfortunately, I was not able to join. I'm the only one missing. Anyway, i have seen their pictures and it was just great!! They also have "fish spa".. and they watched mermaid show. They was just so excited with their stories! I cannot wait to go there too, one of these days! How about you? Have you been there? Do you also plan to visit the place? Please share your stories/ experiences.

hello Ysabel, nope i haven't been to the Ocean park but my two Pamangkins where together with their mom in their fieldtrip. for a ten dollars cost trip i believe it wasn't that satisfiying back then because only half or the first floor had a good site seeing site. i don't know about recently but i hope they have already made some improvements, and am sure the fee is a lot bigger now

I haven't been there I want to go there but the entrance is a bit high and we are far from Manila. If only we have a car I think we can able to go there. This Christmas I think is the best time to go their and bring your whole family. I want to experience the fish spa and to see for myself how beautiful the places is. I only seen the construction of Manila Ocean Park back in 2006 so I'm a bit curios about it eversince. I wish I'm going to visit it one of these days.

hello agv0419 and LetranKnight25! finally, after three months of posting this discussion, i was able to visit manila ocean park! the fee is quite high for me, 400 for adults and 350 for kids. but i could see that there's a lot maintenance and things to do inside the ocean park so i think it is just worth the pay. the place is generally okay, and there are plenty of things to see inside. its just that the route was not so clear, we have to roam back and forth.

before it cost more than just ten dollars when my nice and nephew pay visit to the Ocean Park. i saw the video but it was a bit blurr and they were not allowed to roam to almost every site and can't come back once they are there already. you should but i bet it's more than ten dollars now.

Yeah been there too last year. It was very new and I think they are still building some more on the side but the ocean park was already operational. The place was really new and unique experience. There are a lot of marine animals there and it is really informative place to be especially for the kids. I am hoping that you can visit them too soon.

Hi Ysabel, Yes, i've been to Manila Ocean Park with my kids. It was one of their main destination for the school fieldtrip. The mermaid show is really great, "fish spa" is awesome and unique and the sites of seeing a huge aquarium is fantastic.

So there was like a sort of lecture from the MOP staff? Is that part of the field trip activities? When we went there, we were just by ourselves. And we don't have a tour guide or something.

hi ysabel! i haven't been to manila ocean park yet but i'm planning to take my daughter this holiday season. nothing concrete yet, but hopefully, it'll be after christmas. i'm sure my daughter will enjoy the trip to manila ocean park. i'm also planning to take her to the discovery science center and museo pambata. if i can fit all three trips in one day i would but thinking that spreading it in three different days gives us a lot more tiem to enjoy each place. i just think that trips like these are better thatn trips to the mall or arcade. just my two cents! cheers!!!

Nov 25, 2009 is a very memorable for me and my family. its my mom's 60th birthday and all of us went to ocean park. there are lots of people and we acted just like kids when we went outside. its like going back to childhood. just right after lunch we went there and the pay is worth it. pictures were taken everywhere and i love the fishes at that time.

Hi, Ysabel! I went to Manila two years ago and I have not heard about Manila Ocean Park. Is it new? Where is it located?? For your information, we have our own 'fish spa', too. At some places especially in the villages, the river has become a tourist spot where these fishes are available. So, you can just soak your feet or the whole legs for the fishes to nibble your skin. Anyway, Manila Ocean Park sounds interesting.

wow, what did you do in Manila at that time of your visit? how did you find our country? Manila Ocean park is located just at the back of Quirino Granstand, in Luneta, the famous Rizal park. Hope you can visit the place the next time to come to our country. You will enjoy it!

I have been there with my family last year and the facility was not yet finished. I don't know now. I love the experience I gained during my visit. We rode the rubber boat above the aquarium (forgot the name of the ride) and got amazed with all those sea creatures swimming around us especially the shark! T'was a bit scary though. And yes, we also tried that fish spa. So refreshing to the feet.

I have not been there. But my wife was able to visit the place since she was brought by her boss during one of their business trip. After the meeting, they had time to visit the place. She told me it was wonderful. She even had a fish spa as you have mentioned. I will most likely visit the place later on with my wife and my son.

I have been there recently only. It was so-so for me. It was not that wonderful. For me, the ticket price was not worth it. Maybe because after having seen other places like these in other countries, I was not fascinated anymore. Truth to tell, the ocean park in Hong Kong and Singapore are better. To add, when I went there on a weekend, there were tons of people. It was just too crowded and not enjoyable at all. The only saving grace was the fish spa. That was what I loved the most in Manila Ocean Park. The fish spa is a nice experience.

hello zzyw87! happy new year! i'm sorry to hear that you're quite not so elated with your visit there... That's the downside about the place.. its said to be so crowded that one cannot enjoy roaming around peacefully. Hope things will get better and that it will be managed better too. =)

Yes, I have been there 2 times already and the latest one was last friday. It is more interesting now that the building is complete and they have more stuff to do after you go around. The only thing you have to bear in mind is there will always be alot of people such as students who would come and visit there. I was looking forward to get around the second time around with lesser people but behold there were more kids ever this time. The mermaid show is okay but I think we can do better with that but for the kids its a sight to watch out for I guess.
