Someone cutting in front of you to steal your parking spot

This is something that I absolutely hate and it annoys me to no end. I couldn't care less if it was just once but this has happened to me a few times already in the last few months. The other day I was at the mall waiting patiently for this car to pull out so that I can take their parking spot. I had my turn signal on and everything. I was actually sitting there for a few minutes too. The car pulled out and right when I'm about to pull up there this really inconsiderate driver comes out of nowhere, coming in the wrong direction and steals my spot. I was in disbelief and this was followed by anger. How could this person just cut me off when it was clear to see that I was waiting there for that spot. I was really thinking about going down there and giving that person a piece of my mind. But I stopped myself thinking it wasn't worth the hassle and I didn't want to cause a scene. So I drove away, but not before giving that person a really nasty look, to find another spot. And my mood did not improve at all that day because I ended up being late for work because of that incident. So, I basically wanted to ask if this has happened to anyone else? And what was your reaction to it? Did you let it go? Confront them? Try to get back at them?
