Do you worry about your privacy was disclosed in current internet age?

Hi mylotters, Recently, i searched my name on google and some information about me was search out. Some information was my privacy and should be pulic. And question rise subsequently. Do you worry about your privacy was disclosed in current internet age? At least, i have some worry on it. Do you? Look forward to your sharing.

that is a bit worrying. i've searched my name a couple of times but there is somebody pretty famous with the same name so i have never actually come across myself. i also tend to be fairly careful about what goes online. i think you might be able to get some of this information removed if you contact the website it is on though. good luck.

you need to be careful then i think. i have a very common surname and fairly common first name so apart from the well known person there are lots of others. btw a place that you need to be particularly careful with is facebook because now employers are sometimes checking it.

yeah,It is horrible if my privacy was disclosed.So I seldom write something about my privacy ,and try to protect my personal information as much as possible.But hacker can do a lot of thing to break it

I'm not overly worried about it. A lot of information we think is "privite" is actually public record. There are sites out there designed to look up information on people. Though I am careful about what I put out for others to view. I am on a large number of social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace. The trick to elivate any concern that you don't want others to know, is to leave those fields blank. All social networking websites need are your username, a password, and a valid e-mail. Anything else is volentery. So if you don't want it out there simply don't put it out there.
