I think the greatest virtue in world is compassion.Compassion is the cornerstone of all humanity. It is the only reason why any of us do any good, outside of getting anything in return of course.Helping your fellow living beings, caring for animals obviously provides so much mental solace.Compassion is the sole reason why we offer our help to those in need.compassion is the Godliness that lies in each of us. What according to you all is the greatest virtue in world?

i think compassion is a great and important virtue.... there are many other virtues out there and each has its own importance and significant.... compassion i think occurs naturally if we were born with a compassionate heart. Because i don't get it why some people just don't have that. it seems to me that their hearts must have been hardened....

As per my experience the greatest virtue in the world is following your "Rituals". A ritual is a set of actions , performed mainly for their symbolic value , which is prescribed by a religion or by the traditions of a community. The term usually excludes actions which are arbitrarily choosen by the performers , or dictated purely by logic, chance, necessity, etc.Due to their symbolic nature, there are hardly any limits o the kind of actions that may be incorporated into a ritual.

I think the greatest virtue in the world is the Golden rule: "Do on to others what you wanted done on to your self... and vise versa...". I hope I got that right though. How about the others?
