Christian belief is based upon Jesus as the son of God and the Messiah, christ. The word Messiah come from the Hebrew word meaning anointed one jesus as the Messiah was anointed by God as saviour of humanity, Jesus coming was the fulfillment of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. By asscepting the death and resurrection of Jesus you can be reconciled to God and thereby are offered salvation and the promise of eternal life. Christian believe that Jesus is God incarnate, true God and true man. jesus having become fully human, suffered the pains and temptations of a mortal man, but did not sin. As fully God he rose to life again according to the bible God raise him from the death. He is ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father, and he will return one day for his saints. inspite of the hardship we can be confident that it wont be long I am antispating his return.
