Had the internet never existed..........how would your life have differed from what it is now ? What all would you have not done or achieved ?

Hi. You made me think on this... Hmm, maybe I'm one of those who have made lots of friendship overseas via "penpal." I love making friends. Social networking sites like facebook have been very useful in meeting new friends and/or reconnecting with old friends. Also, I could not imagine how I could provide efficient service to my foreign clients. I could not imagine the long wait for the business documents to arrive at my desk.

If the internet never existed, I would definitely be doing something else right now. I would probably be more into reading books, maybe going outside and playing sports or just staying indoors and learn some new skills. I definitely wouldn't be at the computer all day long. I think I would have definitely been more active than I am now and I would've learned a lot more skills than just typing.

I was slow to get into liking computers. I only began using the Internet and using computers to help my teaching career. I didn't know how to use a computer back in 1999 but I soon learned. If the Internet didn't exist I would probably read lots more books. I am not all that keen on television. I would do more walking and cycling I imagine. I love to spent time on wonderful My Lot and other Internet sites so it is great I live in the age of computers. I have a laptop and a netbook.

It will be very weird if the internet doesn't exist. It would definitely be a real bummer and then, we wouldn't be able to make lots of friends and at the same time, making something extra money to save too. The internet revolution is a very important thing that a lot of people have catch up upon. Take Facebook, with the existing users of millions and more counting, it shows that a lot of people are just wired up (on the internet). I can't imagine how people last time manage to ward off their boredom. Internet is such a crucial part of everyone's lives and should always be around..

if the internet never existed, I would have a lot less money, a lot fewer friends, and I never would have met my husband. Hubby and I met in a writing forum in 2004, and then eventually met in person. He lived in AZ, and I lived in Ontario Canada. Had it not been for the computer, we would have never been able to meet.

If we do not have internet today, you won't be able to ask that question! lol. I also would not have any job to support myself and my family as I work in a call center.
