I might be going to Atlantic City for my birthday!!!

It's so hard to go away for my birthday (December 25th) - it's something I've NEVER done before, but ALWAYS wanted to do. This year, it looks like we just might be able to get away ON MY ACTUAL birthday. We'll of course do the whole Christmas Day with my in-laws like we usually do, but afterwards, we'll head up on to Atlantic City for the rest of the weekend! It's about a 2.5 hour drive so we'll still get up there pretty early. Now, I've just got to call my family to make sure we're not planning anything on the 26th because we aren't planning on coming home until the 27th...

Sweeeeeet! What an awesome way to spend your birthday! I can imagine it's hard to get away since your birthday is on Christmas. I can't imagine a better way to spend a birthday than gambling!!! I've gone to Vegas on or near my birthday, but mine is at the end of April, so not much else going on... Hope you get a lovely jackpot for your birthday!

Oh what fun Reiny! You go girl, who cares what the rest of the family has planned for the 26th! lol I love Atlantic City! Do me a favor and spit out some gum on the boardwalk for me will ya? It's like a rule or something there and your experience isn't complete until you've done it and some poor fool steps in it! ROFL Have a great time and tell us all about in the new year.

Wow! What a day to have a birthday! People all over the world are celebrating your birthday! Okay, so they're celebrating Christmas but, well, I'd see it as a world-wide birthday celebration. Shame you don't get gifts from everyone all over the world. LOL How exciting for you! I'm happy that you'll be going to Atlantic City on your birthday. I haven't been to Atlantic City in decades but loved it when I was there last. I think the last place I went to in New Jersey was Cape May to spend a week at the beach. Of course, Atlantic City in the wintertime can be a lot of fun, too. I hope you have a blast! Enjoy your holiday and HAPPY BIRTHDAY a bit early!!!
