I am sure you are not only going to dislike it, but stumped as well.
For those of you who are receiving an email to try out a fantastic Download Manager program - uFast Download Manager application. Well, sorry to disappoint you - it is not true and don't even consider clicking it.
Apparently, there is a Blackmail Ransomware bundled in the background of the application. Once a machine is infected, a message is posted in Russian (see image) demanding a ransom under the guise of activating the uFast Download Manager application. The infected computer will be blocked from accessing the Internet until a fee is paid.
Now, what have you learned so far about clicking away on links in your email?
Take care and compliments of the season.

Just to sidetrack alittle, just go and download Internet Download Manager, IDM for short. It is absolutely the best download manager out there! Better than flashget! Go check it out.

Hi stormragetz,
Undeniably a good application, but I doubt anyone would be interested when it is a shareware.
There are just so many downloading apps which are simply Free of Charge like Thunder and others. So, thanks but no thanks again, here.
Also, I hope that you are spreading this notice around so that others will not be conned into this ransomware.
Have a nice day and compliments of the season.

Oh thanks for the warning. I will sure avoid that software at all cost. I have seen many like the one that automatically scan you computer virus then it would say your infected but in reality the scanning is already infecting your pc with malwares. And after their scanning they would say to buy the software to remove the virus is really a hoax. You cannot remove the virus anymore unless you have a good AV installed that will block before it installs totally to your PC.
There were many victims in here in the office on that. But this is a new scheme you are telling in here. These malware creators are getting creative eveyr now and then.

rsa101,
Just be safe than sorry is my best advocate here.
I hope that many others will be aware of this malicious malware and not be caught out on this one.
Take care and compliments of the season.
