Unity means living together, doing a thing together. It is a united sterngth of group of people. A man alone may not be able to do a particular piece of work. But he can do with the help of others. This united force is called is unity. So, we can say easily that, "unity is strength". Unity is the habit of working together because it gives strength. We may not lift a load alone but if many men try unitedly they can make it possible to do. If there is a no unity among the brothers of a family, the family can not flourish. So, we have to be liveed together to protect ourselves from the enimies and all others.

'Absence of diversity' is one of the definitions. From dictionary.com. I don't think this is good. Some of the other definitions were about being 'one'. This is interesting. I don't think being 'one's the answer. And yet it could be. But wouldn't you want to be yourself? If you are the type to want to 'be one' with others, then go ahead and be one. But I am not this type. I would rather be independent. There are downfalls to both. I would like to live together. This is a dream. Living together is good, but to get work done you have to have drive, sometimes ignoring disturbances. There is a unit in unity. If you don't love yourself, how can you love others? Or get along. Or if you aren't brave enough to disagree.
