Nowadays personal computers are becoming a necessity in human's life. There are lots of things that we can do to computers and there are lots of works that can only be done with the use of a computer. Computers give us the ability to finish our job much faster than ever, computer also gives us quality communications with the use of internet. Communications which can be used to business transactions and etc. We can also earn money by using the internet with the use of a computer. We can also express our thoughts and opinions all over the world with the use of computers and internet. We can make movies and pictures look better than ever with the use of computers. We can learn new things from internet with the use of computers. And still lots more to do with computers. Now, for you, what are the things that computer can do to you, or what are the help that you can get from computers? And what is the significance of personal computers in your life?

hi,friend,till 2005,i least bothered about computer and i use it for only check mails on weekly basis/when ever i need.But after starting my own consultancy on Biodiesel-http://www.newjatrophaworld.com-[not referral link.]comuter become art and parcel of my life,as i have get nails on that subject worldwide...
when i find time i used to articiate in the social sites...indirectly,it is used for me to promote my web cites..

hi,friend,thank you for showing interest on Jatropha plant..there is a big company in your countyr also named..Philippine National Oil Company – Philippines,you can contact them for getting nursery...
the oil extracted from the seeds of jatropha will be used as Diesel instead of existing diesel which will not be a Airpollutant..

O i see, it means computer really make things easy for you, i have visited the website, and i think your website is good, can i ask, what is the plant that you were talking about? Where can i find those, just like what you said, it is a very effective defense on pollution and/or global warming. I love to have plants like that, plants that can really help save the earth and recover from global warming.

We can do research and almost anything on computers and internet, we can even do write letters and book, and articles with the use of computers. Computer really is a need to our lives at present. I hope, in the near future, computers will only be use as a tool for productivity and development not a tool for destruction.

Yes I am researching when I can as I´m still helping my Husband out and I learn something new everytime I get on here.
Sometimes I send the page that interests me to my e-mail account and keep it in a File or Folder and then I can reference it whenever I can.

Using a computer has brought the world to me and allows me to step into other places on a daily bases. It has given me the opportunity to meet people from all over the planet, in other words it has made the world seem so much smaller. It is wonderful to have every question answered at the tap of a key and I don’t know how I ever got by without it. Anything and everything can be done online these days from shopping to applying for jobs, not to mention MyLot of course! To think there was a time in my life I didn’t have a PC at all, now we’re hooked, we have three!

That is right, computers and internet joined together to make the world smaller. This is a way of getting in touch with people around the world, different races and different nation. This is one way we can impose peace true the world. If we online friends begin it here, i am sure it will explode until it reached each and everyone of us. One can do good, but many can do better. My personal computer is a partner for me. i can do anything with it, say things with it, cry and laugh with it and be crazy about it. My computer entertains me too and will always be there for me anywhere i go!

wow, that is great. What kind of computer do you have? Laptop or desktop or netbook or notebook? Anyway, whatever it may be, what important is that, still it can give us many things and it can do many services as much as we want without asking for return and even not arguing that he is tired. LOL, as if a computer can do that, anyway, have a nice day.

Well, this may sound flip (but it isn't)..It sure takes up a lot less space than the Funk and Wagners, The Encyclopedia Btittanica and assorted footnote volumes, which makes it simpler to reference things, which I use it for quite often. Its as tho I never got over the sponge stage of learning stuff.
And it beats the heck out of the Yellow and White Pages phone directories and contains far more information than these two.
And its a fine Atlas, be it a local map or an international locale.
Its a downtime game site, a photo album, a file cabinet and has a dandy postal service.
Its a place to socialize, chat with friends and family without the need of a plane ticket, deafening music or comments on your choice of beverage..oh..and dressing up.
Its a playground that lends itself well to any creativity, any education and any level of ability.
And it holds no prejudice or hatred for anyone..

Hi friend.Personal Computers plays an important role in our lives today.They are becoming popular day by day.From the past few years almost all companies are becoming computerized.The use of personal computers is almost in each area and is very vast.We cannot imagine the area of personal computer.It is beyond our imagination.Today personal computer is used in few major areas such as in designing , literary analysis etc.Most students probably use word processors together with their built in-features of grammer and spelling , to write and edit papers.With some programmes students can test somewhat more elaborate theories about style and strategies of discourse.
Personal computers provides real help in Government undertakings also.Today almost every govt.department is using computers.It is of immense help.Personal computers today are part and parcel of our life.

Computers are also used by the government, in fact, they are the users of much more high tech computers. Computers are also used for, hunting criminals and terrorist. Computers are also being used by authorities for securing us when we are at sleep or when we need to go home so late. Computers are also used for discoveries even outside this planet. We can work, learn, earn, share and updated on the happenings around the world. Computers, once I become computer literate, have made a huge difference to my life.
The first example of this, was my ability to keep in touch with family and friends. Emails make it so much easier.
Secondly, the ability I now have to research. I was researching my family history for quite a few years and having the internet and being computer literate, made it so much easier.
Thirdly, I have had the chance to earn a little money by doing internet work.
Fourth, I can enter competitions that are mostly online now.

O well you are right about that, communications with our relatives become much more easier with the use of computers. We can do research, we can earn money online and we can even join competitions. Computers really made a big change in the lives on humans on this world, but of course too much use of it is still bad. I mean we still need to schedule the use of computers. There are so many factors and i think it should be avoided. We can have eye defects, huge amount of electric bill, expose to radiation, producer of cfc, and lots more. I am not saying that computer is bad, in fact i am a abusive user of computers, but as much as possible i give time, for me not to suffer the consequences.

my computer makes my life so much easier. i can earn some money from home by having my computer and i can look up anything of interest and learn about it right then and there without having to go to a library or look it up on a book. i also pay my bills online and sometimes shop online and i always use it to keep in touch with friends and family. i would be lost without it knowing how much easier it makes my life.

You are right about that, and i am the same as you, the moment i wake up, after kissing my most beautiful and loving wife, i immediately turn in the PC, for updates and to see what is happening on my business. I have to admit my laptop definitely helps me to get through each and single day. Without it my life would be so boring and I wouldn't be able to communicate with any of my friends or my family. My laptop has helped me alot because I was able to look for a job over the internet and I was also able to get a part time job as well using my laptop. So far its a blessing to me.

Computer has now becoming essential for everyone.Yeah even i cant live without this thing.My day also starts with computer.I have to perform several works like photo Editing,Video Editing,orkutting,talking to friends,Watching movies,listening to Music,etc.Therefore computer is necessary but without internet its use become loose.

I am the same as you, my day starts with a computer, i do business here, i do work here, and i learn here. You are right, computer is a little bit useless without internet, but.. for me, with internet of not, it is still have a lot of use, i can play movies in it, i can play games, i can write articles and books and much more. I treat the computer the same way you treat yours. Computer is a part of my life, and if computers can only talk, i will surely be his best friend. I also have lots of secrets here in my computer that needed to be kept secret forever. If my computer have problems, i immediately repair it, cause being his buddy gives me the responsibility on maintaining him. The computer gives us a lot of services and entertainment and i think repairing them if they have problems is one way of thanking them.

You are right about that, i am also doing my post grad studies, and i computer is really needed because of so much paper works that professors ask us to submit. They even require us to do a lot of research and even right a book. I am sure without a computer, it will be a hell of a job. I am also using the internet for references for research but as much as possible i visit the library. Just like you, i cannot be away from it. Have a nice day.

I don't know what I'd do without my computer. It has almost taken over my life. However I wish I had better IT knowledge, as I maimly use it as a word processor. Having said that, I have downloaded music from all through my almost seventy years on earth, and have many movies and and other cds that provide me with hours of entertainment.

Just like you, i also cannot imagine not having a computer. I've been using and dependent on computers since i was elementary, but i can still live without computers it's just that i am sure it will really be hard for me. I find computers very entertaining and have so many use. I also download music and even movies. I play online games to test my competitive skills. I learn a lot of things on computers and now i am monetizing it. Have a nice day.

Personal computers are pretty much a necessity in my life. I shop and bank and socialize and earn and create and display and share artworks and photos and chat and find directions and look up words in the dictionary.
Just about anything I need to know I go to my smart phone or GPS or computer to learn, even the temperature or the time of day. Computers RULE!
Yet, I have 20 or 30 friends who do not even have a computer or know how to use one. Go figure.

You are right, computers have many uses, and it gives us the ease of doing things and paper works. You are a professor and i am sure that computer really have a lot of uses to you. We can also do some artworks and even edit pictures that will look perfect just like what we really wanted.
That is sad, 20-30 of your friends doesn't have or did not even know how to use a computer. There are lots of reasons for that, maybe they do not have the money to afford a computer, they do not want to buy computers cause they do not know how to use it, they are thinking that they are old enough to study how to use computers and they do not bother having one and do not even bother studying. Is there a right answer? or... what?

hi rjvb oh my computer is a lifeline for me to the outside world and to mylot and to being happy where I am,when I am not where I would like to be.If that makes sense. I am retired thus have time on my hands in a place where I am waited on so much I have little to do so I mylot and without my computer my life would indeed be bleak. I can email my son and my best friend, I can contact mylot friends, I can be on mylot as long as I wish, and my time is pretty much my own. computer use has become a necessity in all sorts of business and I doubt that anywhere now if you wish to work you will need to be computer literate. well if I at 83 can use a computer the kids will surely know how and teach the older ones. he he he

Computer can also give us knowledge about what is happening around the world. I see you already have 20 thousand plus postings. Computer can also provide us help with our daily work and business. You are right, pc in our life today is very much important. I am also like you, i cannot imagine not having a pc in my house and office. I have a lot of business to attend to and it would be very expensive if we will use phones only. Computers have a lot of uses and become a necessity since the society accepts the age of the computers. I am looking for future computers to be much more productive and with new uses.
