JEWELRY is the best and the most sought after by our....other half!!! each and every lady no matter in which continent,which color,or creed they belongs to.......and even no age bar,their love for jewelry remains unquenchable forever!!! Its not necessarily had to be a Gold or Diamond or Platinum.
All the Women flocks like to purchase new and the latest set as frequently as possible.......the smile,the joy, the sparkling eyes speaks all about what our other half relishes or and feast upon which again cannot be measured upon,its a immense joy that our ladies goes on exhibiting for days and months the confidence of being a womanhood becomes really a proud status!!!
The Jewelry if it's been gifted by their spouse or lover or by the father,brother,son gains a special status which again cannot be measured on the Earthly terms,it takes a new dimension... as if its a blessing that have been bestowed upon by the God himself to HER........Its a special kind of energy that run through the vein
I envy the make-up-man at the studio or at the parlors who are good professional and craftsman and successfully been doing their job by satisfying and enthralling the women and off course the whole universe.
We males are satisfied by the fact that these women are the other half of us and we are proud of her in our life!!!

Hi rocket, what total sterotyping of all women there and complete nonsense I think. I genuinely have no interest in jewelry at all and don't know many women who do. I think in some cultures they use it as a way of saving rather than money, or as their escape fund if they choose to sell it. If someone gave me jewelry I'd be annoyed at the waste of money on such frippery when it isn't my thing at all.

There thea09,hey!don't take it so seriously, even if some culture does not approve Jewelry there's nothing a big heck about it!!! Your are very right that some culture do posses it for saving as well as a escape fund but one cannot deny the fact that the maximum No. of women are for the love of Jewelry or rather for beautification of physical appearance,or for attracting the other gender,or even getting the focus of several admirer or staying in the limelight.
Therefore in whatever means if the jewelry enhance ones beauty than why not!!!! hence there is nothing wrong of it,In fact its a fact if we go back to the history of any culture Jewelry was an important aspect of that culture and was adorned by both the sexes.
On the other hand I don't think that GIFT OF JEWELRY are annoying,the word gift itself bring positive vibes and if one gets it and that too of jewelry then theirs nothing better than that.......because Gifts are not just mere gifts its something which is bestowed upon someone whom we adore, appreciate and so on........

If one third of the women are going for the jewelry and only one part or the remaining one goes the other way; neither can I nor can you stop the majority of the people,facts remains the fact it is the women who generally goes for make-up and so does the jewelry comes into play,hence you are the only exception and being different then the rest of the crowed does not makes any difference to the world hence accept the fact and be proud of being a women.

Hi rocket2020, I would like to say that if a woman is obsessed with jewellery then the man in her life should be very happy about it. You know why? Although she is happy with her possession you should admit the fact that it is a wise investment. Just see the price of gold jewelry today and see how rich you are with your spouse's investment. Yes women are very happy when they are gifted with a new jewelry but what is wrong in it. I believe this is very much applicable only in our country and women of other countries are not very crazy about jewelry.

In every culture or age group both the males as well as the females like the jewelry whether coming in the form of gifts or self investment.
History speaks all the facts whether only my country's fore-fathers and fore-mother liked it or was true through out the all cultures.
It is the human nature to appreciated the goodies whether it is natural or man-made,we cannot change the past history and the nature of the human-being!!!
Hence as a matter of fact I appreciated all of yours responses!!! have a good day.
Let us spent more so the demand goes up so the production are carried out and thus the cycle moves on.

Surely you are not serious. This must be a cultural difference. The last time I looked in the mirror I was most decidedly female (which is what I presume you mean by the other half) and personally I have very little interest in jewelry. Several of my friends do not adorn themselves either.
I would rather have some new gadget for my computer or a new cell phone. Ooops, I just remembered, though. I did pay a couple dollars once to buy a decoration that displays a light show up when my smart phone rings. Does that qualify as jewelry?

Dear Drannhh, Its not necessarily One have to be a woman only to have adoration for jewelry,as you your self have express, yourself by means of new gadget for your computer and like that,as I have already mentioned that the jewelry does not have to be of some precious metal only,it could be anything and if it is been gifted by someone near and dear one and that someone if turns out to be a male-gender it becomes a different CLASS and incomparable to the Earthly means to the receiver(female-gender).
Both the males and the Females without any doubt likes Jewelry in its many form,shapes, sizes and color;and yes what I feel is that the displays light along with your smart cell is of-course a sort of Jewelry,and my way of thinking need-not be the benchmark for rest of the world,It just a rapport that we mylotters exchange with each other and particularly with you.
