I have a trip coming up and I think it may include a 10 hour trip on a greyhound. Problem is I have never road a greyhound ever. I have no ideal how to "transfer" or what I am allowed to carry onto a bus. So what are some good tips for arriving without complications such as loss luggage and so forth? Any helpful replies would be great.

I am an experienced traveler. I have been on coaches including Greyhound once. I traveled on it in California. I suggest making sure you pack luggage up to the weight limit. Then making sure it is closed so nothing with fall out of it. Then you could put your name and address on it. You could look at your ticket to see if you have been given a seat. If not then I suggest you arrive at bus station early. Then you will be at or near the front of the queue. You might like to take a travel pillow for extra comfort. I hope that you will have a lovely trip.

Thank you for your reply. Have you ever traveled for the length of time I have planned to (10 hours+)? Was it comfortable? I have a friend who told me it makes you very weary to sit for such a long time in very cramped seats. I had looked on their website and it doesn't answer many of my questions unfortunately. Thank you for your reply.
