What does your Christmas tree look like?

How do you decorate your Christmas tree? My husband and I decorated ours last night and I'm staring at it now. It looks so pretty :-) We have a 7 foot tree that we cover in white lights. Then from there we put on all of our Hallmark Ornaments. We have mostly Hallmark ornaments. It has become a tradition of ours to buy a few each year and we've been together for 5 Christmases, so we've accumulated a nice amount of them! once all of those are on the tree we add in our other ornaments and then lastly add some red and gold bulb ornaments as fillers. People decorate their trees so differently! I'd love to hear how you decorate yours. :-) Happy Holidays!!

Unfortunately I don't HAVE a Christmas tree. . No one I live with is really in with the "holiday spirit" thing, except me! I was eye-balling this fake Christmas tree at Macy's - that's going for $130.. Which is a little out of my budget right now. LOL. But it's all white, and has colorful lights on it.. I can't explain it except to say that it's absolutely GORGEOUS! I might have to see if it goes on sale after Christmas to snag it for next year.

We have a plastic Christmas tree at home and it's the same one for 4 years now. But every year I put up different decors or recycle decors so it will not have same look like last year. This time, I did not put the Christmas balls but hang them up somwhere together with the tree topper- star that looks like a comet LOL. I bought a new star though. I used ribbons instead of the usual tinsel for the garland. Then I added more angel figurines and used the star-like thing from an old wind chime. I just put some silver glitter on the blue color. The snowflakes decor are still around. I just like putting them on the tree because I'm in a tropical country. Then I use white lights. Last year was red and I still used it to adorn the window.

Hello Jennlk I am sorry but we are not celebrating Christmas because there's no such real date when Jesus Christ was born...I guess some people only do that because that already part of the tradition... Mobhomeir

We have a lot of home made ornaments that my grandmother had made over the years. I also have multicolor lights on it. I have a few Hallmark Ornaments as well. I am hoping we can buy a few more ornaments this year, but with the bad economy I am not sure we will be able to afford it.

If you can wait until after Christmas, that is the BEST time to go out and buy Christmas decorations!! We always go to Hallmark after Christmas and get ornaments anywhere from 50-90% off!!! Walmart and Target always have great after Christmas sales too. Happy Holidays!
