Cigarettes just.. not tasting good anymore.

I have been a pack-a-day-er for about 7 or 8 months now, and for the past week or two.. Cigarettes just have NOT tasted good to me at all, and have been leaving a really weird, and gross taste in my mouth. I don't know if this is my body's way of telling me to QUIT! or cut down, or if there's another reason for this that I just don't comprehend. It's seriously making me want to quit, which is a good thing, but I'm just curious to know what the heck is going on. It didn't start up until about 2 weeks ago. What the heck? Has anyone else experienced this before? What do you think it's from, and when the heck is it going to go away?!
