Best time of year to go to Hawaii?

Do any of you know when the best time of year to go to Hawaii is? Me and my friend were thinking Spring Break, but we're not totally sure that the weather and everything will be alright.
What's your opinion on this? And have you ever been to Hawaii on vacation? What time of year did you go, and how was it?

November to March can be rainy in Hawaii. May to October is the summer and November to April is the winter. The weather is hot and humid. Hawaii has a tropical sort of climate. Yes, I went to Hawaii when I was 20 years old. I was on my way around the world. I stayed at the North Shore and the sea up there has high waves. Surfing seemed really popular there. I visited Pearl Harbor and that was a sad but moving experience. I went there in February and left for Fiji in March. The weather was hot and there wasn't much rain. I arrived there after visiting California and the humidity hit me as soon as I got there. I hope that you will have a wonderful spring break in beautiful Hawaii.
