I met my now wife online and we are very happy together, we met on myspace and neither of us were looking for a relationship it just happened, we are now married and trying for children. .I would just like to get opinions really, what do you think of online dating and people who base relationships online?

I think you are a lucky couple.because marriage or an emotinal relationship is not true on the net because we cant meet the people correctly online..

personally i dont think it works unless you intend to actually spend your lives together, as in the kind of together where you wake up and there hey are laying next to you - not in the computer. but i do think its a valid way to meet people

I've never tried this myself, but if you find someone you really connect with and are lucky enough to fall in love what does it matter where you met ? Think of it this way, if your now wife messaged you and you didn't reply just because you didn't think online dating could work you would not have your wife and you wouldn't be so happy. Also If you are now talking to someone online and are thinking about a relationship, what if this person is the love of your life and you are turning your back on them. I believe in fate, so if you randomly meet someone who you connect with maybe "the gods" are saying its worth it. Really what are the chances of finding a person online who you really start to care about. I think if you are lucky enough to find it then it may be meant to be, then again it may not. But you have to take chances.
