Had you rather read the book or see the movie? Have you seen any good movies made from a book lately?

Everyone differs. A lot of people enjoy watching a movie more.

I like movies, but books are so much better. They are usually in more detail, and you can use your imagination.

That's the great thing about the books to me. I get to use my imagination as to what I think the characters look like and all.

Book all the way!!! The books are always much better and the movies tend to leave out so much detail, it changes the story. I know this is due the time/how long a movie should be to keep the interest of the viewers. But I have read many books that later turned movie. So from my personal experience, book!! Definitely the book! Besides, reading encourages learning. TV is an intellectual vacuum.

I'm a book person too. The movies usually just don't come anywhere near to comparing to the book in how great they are.

always the book first and then the movie.this way i am thorough with the characters and also see how the movie differs from the actual story in the book.

The book, of course! Then you can imagine all the things yourself, how all the places and characters are looking like etc. A movie presents us an imagination of someone else. It was only once, I liked a movie as much as the book, and it was "Pride and Prejudice", I mean the mini-series.
