Both leagues are quite good and have their own charms. Spanish La liga is more skillful of the two and you get to see some great skillful work in the league. English Premier League is more pacy and you see more thrilling end to end action in the EPL.
For me both are good, but there seems to be a big gap in the both leagues between the top 3,4 teams and the rest.

In my opinion, the intensity and speed of the Premier League puts it pretty much in the Driving seat. As well as boasting 4 world class clubs; Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to La Liga's two Barcelona and Real Madrid.
If we merge all the players from each league and make a 'dream team' La liga would look the better option. Having said that, I just think power and ferocity is better than the technical and slow play of La Liga:
Premier League Best XI:
Torres-Rooney
Fabregas-Lampard-Gerrard
Essien
Cole--Terry-Vidic--Sagna
Cech
La Liga Best XI:
Messi-Ibrahimovic-Ronaldo
Kaka--Xavi--Iniesta
Abidal--Puyol-Pique--Alves
Casillas
On paper, the better side would obvioulsy be the La Liga side. But you have take into account the team chemistry and how they gel together. Therefore, Premiership players I think will work as a unit as apposed to very good players individually wanting to be the talisman of the team.

See in Spl these players have just come in this season..............While players like Gerrard, Lampard have been playing in liv and chelsea for ages.............So we just can't compare team chemistry just yet......................However in case of openness..... Yes EPL is much more compititive...............

i think it STILL epl is better than spl
why ?
in spl, there is no change between JUST madrid and barcelona who will become the winner
but in epl its unpredictable between MU-CHELSEA-liverpool or ARSENAL

my choice would be for EPL than SPL.. reason bein that in EPl there is more competition than in SPL. also with the likes of KAKA and RONALDO and IBRAMOVIC to real Madrid and Barcelona have made SPL look as if there are only two teams competing for the title. and when you take the playing style EPl is still more aggressive and entertaining than SPL. My vote for EPL.

That's the only drawback in SPL.................. There's a huge gap between Madrid, barca and the rest of the lot........................

frankly, i prefer to choose Italy League because iam roma fans. but optional only two, EPL or SPL.LOL. so if i had to choose from one of the optional, i choose Spanish League.i like Spanish league style, competition and many great player involved now in Spanish League even they had lost Fernando Torres (one of the best spanish forward).
