Do you asked questions when you're sure or you go with your assumptions?

When I was studying there are times when I rather not asked questions with my professor simply because I'm a bit afraid of him/her. That I rather go on assuming that what I learned is right. I just make an effort to research about the subjects. How about you, do you often asked questions when you're not 100 percent sure?

hi caregurden i am glad to see your topic because today only in my practical class my lecturer teach me about taking readings my prismatic compass. till now i don't see the prismatic compass by myself, from tomorrow we are going to start the practicals. Assumption is good in some cases like what happen today for me but one must ask question when he/she is unable to understand. Sure, i will ask lot of question tomorrow.

Yeah, when you make predictions and assumptions for the future or when you make decisions. Yeah, it's good to ask questions, since there are so many things we didn't know that other does. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

I always asked questions. Maybe a little too much. But I was raised in an intellectual environment where asking questions was a plus. Now that I´m old, I still ask questions and have come to realize that now it is part of my still wondering about this beautiful and complex world. I never was afraid of my professor either because I knew so many professors since I was born and had discovered they were people loke everyone else. When I myself started teaching at the University, I made that clear to my students very early. What professors like is people who research AND ask. Have a nice time!
