should overweight fliers be charged more?

the plane's seat was of course modelled based on a normal-sized person. how would you feel if a seatmate, because of his size, takes up your small space because of his bulk? for me, it's going to be totally torture for am claustrophobic. how about you? should big fliers pay big also? pay big because they have to pay for two seats?
