With all the talk about Tiger, it has got me thinking. The neighbor down the street has an affair with his co-worker. Does that become public knowledge? Voice Mails exposed etc? Do we care other than for a day? When Tiger has issues, the whole world knows. Do you think he deserves his privacy? Should we be hearing voice mails? What do you think? Please share your opinion.

I think all people should have the privilege of privacy. But in the case of Tiger woods, that he is famous person. I don't he will avoid that. Even that case is a family matter and shouldn't be known in public...

Whatever happens is between the parties involved, but I will say this. Know the signs of a cheating spouse: 1. Strange numbers on his cell phone or the home phone. 2. He is leaving the house at odd hours of the night. 3. He is acting strangely. 4. You and your spouse are not talking like you use to (this is a big one). I consider these the four major ones, but there are many others. When it comes to cheating, it should always be between the parties involved, but often times, other people know when others are cheating. Seriously, it just shows. One of my friends was cheating on her ex-boyfriend, not intentionally, but she had met this guy who was far better than who she was with, and the other guy really cared for her. She ended up dumping her boyfriend for the other guy and she married the other guy. That is another thing, if you since a lot of unhappiness in your relationship, if you sense that your spouse is unhappy, start questioning and wondering why? I do not condone cheating, but I do know why people cheat, and it is usually because there is always some kind of problem in the relationship or in the person's life that they have a tough time talking about, so they will take it out by cheating. If my boyfriend cheated on me once, I would forgive him for that one time, but if he did it multiple times, then I would have to leave him. Also, remember that it is not just men who cheat, women can do it as well. It just happens.

Do we buy this 'neighbor's' clothes or golf clubs? Do millions if not billions of parents and children across the world emulate their children to be like Tiger? Is this the kind of character we want our children to aspire to be? Is this the character we want to see on a Nike commercial saying, perhaps jogging alongside a group of attractive, white women, smiling at the camera and saying, "Just Do It"? The man makes a good deal of money from his talent on the golf course. When billions of dollars are spent/year based on the fact that this guy is who I want to be, whether it be on the golf course, in the classroom, or drinking a gatorade, then if there's a blemish on his record of these proportions, YES, ABSOLUTELY, WE AS A WORLD SHOULD KNOW IT ALL. I'm not saying I personally want to know it all, but yeah, I want access to it. I want to know that hey, I supporting a good guy, and not a piece of poop. Needlesstosay, I will NEVER buy another thing associated with Tiger Woods.

Its true that all people whether you're a celebrity like tiger or not should have privacy, especially when it comes to their family. But hey, tiger brings his family to the golf tournaments, and when you sign a deal to become a golfer and then you become a big star, you should expect that you won't have privacy any more, people are obsessed, most of them, not me, with celebrities. Tiger, you told michael vick to apologize and admit that he's wrong, so you should do the same. Not on some website but in public, to your fans foremost, and to the media. First of all tiger, when you get married, you make a commitment and you should stick to your wife. You should go around having affairs with other women, i don't care who you are, you're wrong and you know and its all your fault. You even had a kid from the woman, are you that greedy tiger? That you have to have more women? I just don't understand these celebrities sometimes, why do you get married if you're going to cheat, maybe he didn't know or something. You have a beautiful wife tiger, stick with her, what if she cheated on you? What would you do? Thse celebrities think they can do anything they want and that's not right. I knew something was wrong and i knew something was going on when tiger came out of his house at 2:30 am when he should have been sleeping, and on top of that with his shoes off. If i was a celebrity, i'd never be out after 1am because nothing good happens during those hours of the night, people are usually commiting crime or heavy drinking of something, what's wrong with you tiger?

gina2008, Well, the neighbor's affair may not be national exposure material, but I am sure the local gossip columns will definitely be interested, provided someone is doing the dirty work of exposing it. As for Tiger Woods, in the first place, let's not forget that every successful celebrity is a public figure or rather a role model. There's no choice, fame and attention is just simply synonymous. So, Tiger's close scrutiny is nothing new as it is no different with the rest of the Amy Winehouse, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Harrison Ford and the list goes on. In all fairness, I am sure you will agree that every high achiever knows what fame is and whatever attachments that comes with it. So, with all the attentions including the unnecessary ones, I just do not think we can be frivolous with our ways and careless with our decisions. Whatever happens to Tiger can happen to anyone and everyone from a well known public figure to an ordinary layman. I do agree that he deserves his privacy but can he help it or rather control it when every one out there wants a piece of him? Especially, when all of his alleged mistresses are feeding the columns, tabloids and paparazzi. Not forgetting some that are considering selling their story to a book publisher and even a movie company. There's also another harsh fact about these illicit affairs and that is, it sells. Like it or not, you may detest or have that "wanting nothing to do with it" attitude but the television, magazine and newspaper ratings beg to differ. There's a massive audience out there that are ever hungry for such tabloid news. So, like it or not dirt, sells. As George Eliot once said: “Ignorance... is a painless evil; so, I should think, is dirt, considering the merry faces that go along with it.” Can Tiger alone determine and control his badly deserved privacy to settle his problems? Can he really control it? I don't suppose he could, could he? Especially, after he has decided carelessly to share his personal effects. Yet, let's not forget that he has a chance like any one of us who is willing to admit his mistakes and work on his marriage and life. So, we should all respect that, not only for Tiger Woods but for all who have in one way fallen along the way. They need our compassion, understanding and support. It will not help a single bit if we were to judge, cast stones or have prejudice against them because if you do, then we have forgotten that we are all imperfect humans and that we are no way better than the other. So, let yesterday be the past like history and start living today towards a new ending. “It is never to late to be what you might have been” - George Eliot Have a nice day.

everybody has their own personal life and its very personal so no body should peek into it tiger woods is a celebrity bt it doesnt mean tht media or nebody else have the right to peek into their personal life . so its pointless to make it a issue and njoying at it thts a bad thing if we would be at his place then how would we feel??
