Fix or call a maintenance?

When you have problem with your computer, do you fix it by yourself or you call a maintenance? I don't know much about computer and its language. So when I got trouble with my PC I often seek help from my sister in-law, who knows about it. How about you, do you know how to fix PC problems or seek maintenance?

i do it myself...frm the very beginning....if its somethng i can't do....i'll check the net for solution and try again....it always worked out....not only mine but neighbours also...its fun doing the pc repair stuff...but gets on the head sometimes..
