Another Reason Why E-Mail Is A Better Choice Today

Just when you think that your usual snail mail will be delivered to you, well don't be too sure. At least, not for most folks at Stockton Health in Cheshire, UK, where it was reported that their postal actually abandoned their Christmas mails including parcel in the remote outskirts.
This is just unthinkable and seems like this is not the first incident, where in 2006, 19-year-old postman Christopher Meek of Sunderland, actually hoarded 14,000 letters and packages at his home because his post bag was 'too heavy'.
Having second thoughts now?

This is true , but we still need the postman to post some important things out to another state or country yea . Email is good to send documents but not hard object .

Sir_bobby88,
To be honest, if these postal agencies do not buck up, they will find themselves being replaced by courier services in the near future.
Such miscarriage of duty is not only deplorable but just find another justifiable reasons to prefer courier services over them.
I really hope that we will never see that day. So, let's hope the relevant will pull up their socks and not find another excuse for lame or no performance.
Take care and compliments of the season.

jjwebb232,
I fully agree with you on the parcel part, but if you will also notice that shopping online is catching up fast nowadays. Delivery nowadays are just being taken care of by the vendors and with payment protection, I just feel that snail delivery days are numbered.
However, I am just concern with these current breach and miscarriage of duties. I just cannot imagine how civic mindedness can be shown the backdoor so easily.
Take care and compliments of the season.

No wonder emails are a better option to communicate nowadays. Also emails are a much greener way to communicate as it helps reduce the use of paper and hence save trees!

Hi. I've read the link you've posted. I was shocked. I could not imagine other people could do that.
Just recently, I have also watched a news here in the country about some organized crime groups targeting credit cards mailed by bank institutions to prospective cardholders. They use the cards to shop for gadgets and sell on e-bay.

Um......no... I still prefer e-mail anyway over snail-mail but there are still some uses for snail mail. Though I never did like it much. But, as long as man kind exists so will snail mail.
